Some interesting features
I use WordPress for my website because I basically didn’t want to spend too much time creating one. Then I realized, could it scale up significantly, like having a website with 100,000 to 1,000,000 posts? It might sound a bit crazy, but I’ve been thinking about this idea. Haha!
The answer is yes. I’ve done some research, and fundamentally, the default WordPress isn’t great when it comes to database performance. So, I improved it a bit by rewriting queries to use WHERE EXISTS instead of LEFT JOIN, which helps handle the load when there are many posts (even though I’m quite lazy about posting).
I also enhanced the search functionality (which isn’t exactly fast) – it’s acceptable for now. You can give it a try; I revamped the layout to make it a bit nicer for both websites.

Congratulations! You can now search much faster than before. I find it quite convenient. I tried it on a demo website with about 200,000 articles, and it worked quite well.
In addition, I really appreciate this filtering feature. It’s quite nice and interesting. However, its limit is only around 10,000 posts. I believe I will upgrade to a better option when I have the time.
Here are some recent changes made to the website. Most of them focus on enhancing its visual appeal slightly, optimizing performance, and improving security measures. You know how it is, right? Hehe! This is just a personal project for enjoyment, not aimed at commercial purposes.

Video games… Oh, I guess I’m not that interested…
Final Fantasy XIV was my favorite game ever. I appreciated it for its visuals, sound, and story. It seems that I used to be a big fan of video games, but now I’ve shifted my focus to reading and engaging in sports. Recently, my body fat percentage has been around 14%, which isn’t too high. I notice that many influencers on social media achieve levels around 10% or even below that, which seems like an admirable goal. While it might feel challenging, I believe it’s attainable. After all, real life is far more rewarding than video games. I now enjoy activities that stimulate the mind more than ever.
I don’t have time for negative things
My approach is to go to bed early, maintain a balanced diet, and exercise regularly. I don’t focus too much on the outside world. I don’t consider this selfish; I call it being focused. You see, I’m really into optimal performance. I strive to optimize everything as quickly as possible without getting bogged down by unnecessary clutter. Too much clutter leads to overwhelm and loss of control. That’s my method.
